No trip to Nelson ever feels long enough.
Still, it was a great day filled with some fabulous food, coffee and spot of shopping 🙂
New Zealand is a funny old place with pockets of creative and passionate people dotted all over the place. A haberdashery shop lady proudly displays up-cycled porcelain hand-painted by her mother. The local coffee roaster is also an avid collector of vintage grinders. Everywhere we went we saw hand-painted shop signs and crafters crocheting in the sun. My father was terribly inspired by the local’s creativity and even had a go a few craft projects himself. Looks like the old boy has some secret tricks up his sleeves!
